My primary areas of practice are Real Estate, both residential and commercial, Estate Planning and business formation. This includes contract drafting and review, purchases and sale closings, title work, title insurance, leases, subdivisions, state and local permitting, zoning, resolution of property issues, easements, boundary line adjustments and everything else involved in a real estate transaction. My Estate Planning practice includes drafting of Testamentary Wills and Codicils, Power of Attorneys, Advanced Directives, Health Care Proxies and Estate Administration.

One thing that sets me apart from several of my colleagues is my commitment to customer service to all parties involved in the transaction: the buyer or seller, the lender, the real estate brokers and in estate planning and business formation, the client. I pride myself on my detailed, hands-on approach to interacting with my clients to ensure a smooth and efficient closing, estate plan or business formation.

Another thing that sets me apart in my real estate practice is my “Buyer Binder” that I give to both refinance and purchase clients at closings. Included in the bound booklet are copies of all documents related to the closing, but also all documents related to the title search. I have had many clients over the years tell me how invaluable these booklets are years after their closing so they can look up information related to their loan or title.

I have lived in the Upper Valley for over twenty years. While my native Vermont husband, whose family has lived here for eight generations, still calls me a transplant, I am proud to call this area my home and think of myself as a Vermonter. I could not imagine a better place to raise my children. We have a beautiful, creative, and bright teenage daughter, and a funny, caring, and gifted teenage autistic son.
